AAHA Accreditation
Dogwood Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort is proud to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2009. AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada and is well-known among veterinarians and pet owners for setting the highest standards in veterinary practices and quality pet care. Only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States have achieved this high standard. To become AAHA-accredited, Dogwood had to pass a rigorous inspection of 900 criteria in the areas of quality of care, diagnostics, pharmacy, management, medical records and facility. We passed with flying colors! AAHA-accreditation is just another way Dogwood shows its commitment to offering each pet the best care possible! Ask us what this accreditation means for you and your pet.
You’ve chosen an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, one of only 3,500 in the U.S. and Canada. Our accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association means that we’ve undergone a rigorous evaluation process to ensure that we comply with strict standards in patient care, pain management, surgery and many other areas. Think of it as a guarantee that your pet is receiving the highest quality care available.
